Date: December 01, 2018 at 03:23PM
=?utf-8?Q?Notes:_THE_WONDER_OF_CHRISTMAS?= Dear Wildre It's almost here! We have reached the end of the year and the 'most wonderful' time of the year is ahead of us.The Lord has brought you through this year and in His faithfulness, here we are today, and He has undertaken through all the storms and all the joys. What a faithful God we serve!NOTES: THE WONDER OF CHRISTMAS!There is a reason why this time of the year is special. There is a reason that the whole world seems to pause and celebrate. It is because of a simple story of a child that was born into humanity who was also God. John 1:14 'The Word became a human being and lived here with us.' The world was changed forever, and if we receive Him, we can be changed as well. That is 'The Wonder of Christmas'! The notes are below this letter. Just scroll down and enjoy these notes as you prepare yourself for this wonderful time.FAMILY NEWS We as a family continue to move forward, after what was a difficult year. The Lord has been faithful to us as we passed through the 'valley of the shadow of death' and come out on the other side. My eldest, Caitlin, completed her first novel and has been a constant delight and grown into the splitting image of her mother. My youngest, Amy, completed grade 9 this year and is looking forward to the holiday. She is a young lady who is full of faith!NEWS FROM THE OFFICEDespite all the upheavals this year the office ran effectively and efficiently. People were encouraged and prayed for and the ministry grew significantly. Rene, our office manager, had a baby, who is now a lively 3-month-old. JJ, our computer specialist's, wife is pregnant and there is much excitement. The team are 'gifts' who love the Lord and want to serve Him.THANKSThanks for all the support and encouragement we have received during the year. It inspired us to press on and share the Good News far and wide.PLEASE NOTE: DATES FOR DAILY THOUGHTS The Final Daily Thought for 2018 will be sent out on Friday 14 December 2018 and we will resume sending from Monday 7 January 2019. =?utf-8?Q?Thought_for_27_November_2018?= Hi Wildre Here is your word for today:Verse: Philippians 4:13'I can do ALL things through HIM who gives me strength.' - The Lord is our refuge and our strength.- Even when life seems overwhelming, His strength is still at our disposal.- He tells us not to fear, because He will give us the power we need.- With His power and strength in our lives, nothing will be impossible. PRAYER: Lord, what a joy it is to know that You are with me to strengthen and help me. Therefore, I will not fear, but I will believe and see impossible things happening in my life. =?utf-8?Q?Thought_for_23_November_2018?= Hi Wildre Here is your word for today:Verse: Luke 1:28'The angel appeared to her and said, 'Greetings, you who are highly favoured! The Lord is with you.' - What a wonderful thought that we can know and enjoy His favour on our lives.- His Word tells us that we can receive favour from the Lord.- His favour is like a shield that surrounds and protects us.- His favour does not come and go, but it endures and lasts for a lifetime. PRAYER: Lord, thank You for Your favour and blessing on my life. I receive Your favour, and ask that You would surround me with Your favour, as I trust You day by day. Amen.Have a great weekend.Kind RegardsPastor Andrew RoebertALIVE TO GODEmail: andrew@alivetogod.comPlease take a moment to update your profileTo receive these thoughts, send an email with SUBSCRIBE in the subject to: andrew@alivetogod.comTo unsubscribe please send an email with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject to: andrew@alivetogod.com
